A U.S. Government delegation led by Anthony Foxx, Secretary of Transportation, and Danish City Mayors will discuss urban transportation in smart cities. Martin Brynskov, OASC Chair, moderates this high-level smart city seminar in Copenhagen.

Copenhagen, Denmark: The smart city workshop, organized by the American Chamber of Commerce in Denmark and the Confederation of Danish Industry, takes place on April 19. Mayors of the Cities Austin (Texas), Portland (Oregon), and South Bend (Indiana) accompany the Secretary of Transport, Anthony Foxx. The delegation furthermore includes U.S. industry representatives.

At this Smart City seminar, which is moderated by OASC chair Martin Brynskov, the U.S. delegation will engage with Danish municipalities and business leaders to discuss opportunities and challenges for urban transportation in smart cities. Furthermore, speakers will address the role of public-private partnerships in finding solutions to smart urban mobility.

The Secretary and the delegation of U.S. City Mayors are visiting Copenhagen as part of a best practices gathering mission in European capitals. Besides Copenhagen, the delegation also visits Oslo and Amsterdam.
